Research
I am coordinator of the Minnesota Tree Improvement Cooperative at the Cloquet Forestry Center. In that position I conduct applied research on many aspects of genetics and silviculture for five native conifers. The objective of my graduate research is to investigate mechanisms associated with increased productivity of select families of white spruce and to elucidate genotype by environment interactions and heritabilities with associated plant traits.
